I'm 17. I'm a senior in high school. My bf, he's 19. graduating from a local 2 year college this year. i plan on going to college next year. haven't really talked to him about what he is going to do. it seems tho like we wanna stay together but we aren't going to worry about it until june, when we graduate. i'm really happy with him. he brings me on dates, comes over to my house with my family to hang out. yet, my mom is still not approving because he is in college. i don't see what the big deal is because we had been dating for like 3 months before it was really anything. it's unknown whether or not she likes him because whenever i ask, she don't answer of just says "he's 19". which is really discouraging. i wish my mom would understand that he makes me happy. does anyone have any advice for me on how i should try to talk to my mom because we are pretty close but he is like the only thing we can rarely talk about. btw ill be turning 18 in july and he'll be turning 20 in august.
