Ovulation help!

I need some help..im on clomid this is my 1st round. I took it as instructed 5 days only. Im using opk 's and showed a LH surge detected on day 6 of my cycle just for this one day...then i had a big gap on no LH surge being detected...then today (day 14) LH surge is detected again. On both days, days 6 and day 14 i did feel slight pains below. The type u get jus before your period comes but wasnt painful. I did do the deed on both days when i was. In just confused why i had a rise in LH surge on both seperate days with a gap in between? Has anyone else experienced this?
