I stopped swaddling when my baby started rolling from back to belly because it's not safe to swaddle when they can roll. We still use our swaddles as wearable blankets. Their arms need to be out if they can roll so they're able to lift their heads out of the mattress in the event that they do roll in their sleep.

We're in the middle of sleep training so our son is in a sleep sack overnight but is still swaddled for naps in his rock n play. He isn't rolling from back to front yet. Hoping to get him completely out of the swaddle and napping in his crib in the next couple weeks! He does great at night unswaddled but fights naps like none other without it lol.

Swaddling can be dangerous at this age. Try baby merlins magic sleepsuit to transition from swaddle.
