Since I decided to go on birth control about 8 months ago, my doctor prescribed me Microgestin (pill) and I noticed some side effects like nausea, mood swings and low sex drive while taking it in the morning. I kept taking it until last month when I decided to stop it because I didn't wanted to deal with these side effects. However, I want to be protected without having to stop for a condom. I'm planning on going to the doctor's and asking for another kind of BC pill or simply another BC method. My question here is, is there a BC pill that won't affect my libido and won't give me these side effects?
