Stained panties!

Ok I keep seeing this picture and I see women either denying it or saying that it is because of ammonia in urine so I just wanted to let some of those females know what it is and why it happens really! A healthy vagina naturally has a PH level between 4.2 and 5. Making it already pretty acidic for our bodies, the acidity of most womens discharge release a "good bacteria" (yes there is a such thing, you can use google if you fee the need to). This good bacteria is called lactobacillus and the bacteria release something called lactic acids and lactic acids are know for lightening! THERFORE your discharge is normal and healthy and is the culprit behind these stains! Many dark spot correcting lotions have lactic acid as a main ingredient! So any normal healthy vagina produces these stains.

ALSO ammonia in urine is a bit of a misconception because ammonia is way too toxic for a human body that we actually alter the ammonia chemical in our bodies into something called urea. So UREA is what is in our urine NOT ammonia, but its like an altered version of it. Urine shouldn't be strong enough to bleach any of your clothes!

***UPDATE

I also wanted to say that if your discharge smells of ammonia you likely have an offset PH balance(this can happen from simply taking a bubble bath, its not uncommon). These stains arent strictly from PH balanced vaginas, they can happen but arent limited to vaginas with an off set Ph balance or bacterial infection. The reason that this stain will occur with a vagina that has a bacterial infection is because your body tried to fight it away by producing a lot of the "good bacteria". So these stains can happen to anyone!
