How many times do your brush your teeth a day?

I am just curious because my husband and I were talking about it and growing up his mom never made him brush his teeth everyday and only did it when he felt like! Thankfully his teeth are okay now thanks to me making him brush his teeth! I brush mine 2x a day and make sure he does at least once! And with all the crazyNess that happens on here all the time I thought I'd pick a drama-free topic :) What about y'all?

I shocked by some of the answers. I brush mine right when I wake up in the morning and before I go to bed.   Occasionally I will brush them a third time during the day too. I hate the feeling of fuzzy or dirty teeth 😖

This is probably going to be unpopular, but I feel like we overbrush our teeth. 
Yes, brushing teeth is incredibly important and may be extending our lifespan however it doesn't need to be done 2 or 3 times a day (IN my opinion!) especially if you're not consuming a diet high in sugar. 
I voted "whenever I remember" which usually means whenever I eat something really sugary or when I feel like I need to brush my teeth. Sometimes this means missing a day, or only brushing once that day, or I'll brush lightly without tooth paste or maybe even run some ginger across my teeth a few times instead of brushing (it actually feels great!). 
Brushing too much can destroy the enamel on our teeth, fluoride is a neurotoxin and "cleaner" does not always mean "better" in regards to bacteria that naturally inhabits our bodies.
This is what works for my body, it doesn't have to work for yours!

What's more important than brushing is flossing. I love flossing! Brushing alone won't remove all the plaque and buildup.

I hope no one's gonna choose any of the first 2 answers 😂 I used to brush them after every single thing I ate when I had braces lol. I brush them once a day, sometimes in the morning too if I feel like I need it or have time

I used to be 2x a day but with the new baby sometimes I go all day without brushing just because I forget to. If I'm leaving the house I definitley make sure I do and I try to make sure I do it at least once a day

Oh and I thought my other half was some sort of deviant for only brushing once a day but I guess it's pretty normal huh!! There's little evidence for the effectiveness of flossing so I don't do that

Twice a day. I use a charcoal teeth whitener as well, so I guess it's technically 4. Because I use the charcoal and then brush with my regular toothpaste to get the gunk off.
