when to tell?

How many weeks along are people telling their family the baby news? I'm thinking of telling immediate family at the weekend, I will only be 5 weeks but just going to tell my parents and husbands parents as there are family events coming up and they would be bound to guess if I didn't tell them. Will keep it quiet from rest of family until 10-12 weeks

We told pretty much everyone at about 5 weeks. We figured if something did happen we would have people around us to support us through a tough time, and if everything is good we didn't have to worry about hiding anything or making excuses for why I can't eat sushi. 😊 I'm almost 7 weeks now and so far so good, thank you Jesus!

We found out on Sunday that we were pregnant and I'm 5 weeks, my partner works with his dad and brother so sees his family every day so we couldn't keep it from them.  We've told our parents, grandparents and siblings that we're expecting. Also told my managers as I've had morning sickness this week so wanted them to be aware but I think we're holding off telling anyone else till we've had our first scan around 12 weeks - although I will probably cave and want to tell people earlier!

We told our parent and my siblings the weekend after we found out (this past weekend).  We may tell really close friends if it comes up naturally but I think we will mostly wait until 2-3 months

We've told parents,sisters, and very few close friends and fam. Not much and we were 4 weeks. 
We will not say anything else until after feb 28th, my official prenatal appointment.

I'm about 5 weeks and my husband and I are having trouble keeping our mouths shut! We told my parents and brother, his parents and siblings and quite a few of our friends the day we found out. We're going to wait to post anything until probably 8 weeks if we can wait that long.

My husband and I just found out yesterday we are 5 weeks! 😁 we are waiting till our first ob visit and ultrasound at 7 weeks to tell our family.

We are not telling anybody yet. We want to go to out 1st appt first and hopefully ultrasound too. The first to know would be our kids, we are planning on telling them in a special way & then family & friends.

At 5 1/2 weeks I told my parents, my sister & my grandma. We are waiting to tell everyone else 😊
