Is my baby's heartbeat okay? help!

I'm 14 weeks pregnant today and I went to see the midwife. We heard the heartbeat and its 148 bpm. Is it alright?🤷🏼‍♀️😰

And can you tell if it'll be a boy or a girl? 😌💓💙

If the midwife isn't concerned then you shouldn't be either. Also the old wives tales about the heart rate being a certain gender is untrue my little boy has a really high heart rate and he's definitely a boy whereas according to the tales he should be a girl with a high heart rate x

My girl is either 144-146 every time we go to the dr

Higher heart rate -girl
My daughters heart rate has been 155 since we found out. . Btw 148 is normal for a boy , my doc just told me that few days ago cause I always ask for her heart rate hope this helps

Completely normal ours has gone from 175 at the ultrasound 8 week to 130 just Monday 23 weeks.

My girl was 151 at 16w. They slow down the farther along they get. If your midwife wasn't concerned, I'm sure it's fine.
