Lump in breast?!

I just found out I was pregnant today. Based on my period, I am 5 weeks.

My boobs have been achy and hurting so I've been trying to massage the achiness away. But I just found a small lump underneath my left nipple. It feels like I can move it side to side. Is this normal during early pregnancy?

Ask your doctor. It's likely a fibroid/fibroadenoma but many of those types of masses can grow expentially during pregnancy due to hormone fluctuation.

I found a lump in my breast right before I got pregnant and after ultra sound dr ruled it as fibroid but to come back in 6 months. I got pregnant and 6 months later (in dec) it had doubled in size. Had to get biopsy and turns out it's a rare tumor and will continue to grow so I have operation scheduled to get it out next week before it grows any larger and interferes w breastfeeding etc

Long story short better safe than sorry always get those checked out

They usually say if it's moveable that it's nothing to worry about but I would definitely ask your doc. I went through the same thing in nov..thats the only reason I knew.

When I got pregnant my boobs got lumpy but I'd still ask your doctor to look at it
