I had my 26w appointment yesterday with a new Dr since we moved out of state. I told her about my son who will be 1 in about a week and she warned me that conceiving before your current baby is 1 puts you at risk for smaller babies and also preterm labor. Sure enough baby girl is measuring 2 weeks behind. Does anyone have any experience with this? I had no idea this was a thing?

However I do also have marginal cord insertion which could also be causing growth issues. We're getting a growth scan done in 2 weeks to make sure she's actually still growing good.
