home birth or hospital?

Question

I'm planning a pregnancy to occur over the next few days (I'm super fertile don't wanna offend anyone by saying this) but I don't want to be in a hospital because of all the heavy mess and basically being strapped to a bed in order to push out a bundle of screaming joy.

I really want to do a home birth or do a birthing center this time around. Has anyone ever done either of those options? I really want your thoughts.

Check out the book pushed Jennifer block. I think it will help you to make your decision. I would absolutely do a home birth if I could but we have no midwives where I live

I would say if you choose to have a home birth or in a birthing center make sure you can quickly get to the hospital if you have complications. I had a completely healthy risk free pregnancy and ended up having a serious life threatening complication immediately following delivery that put me in the ICU.
