Do you normally or have you ever felt ovulation twinges?

I've been keeping a really close eye on symptoms throughout my cycle this month and I had an LH surge 2 days ago (jan9th) and for a few hours today I kept feeling twinge-like pains around my right ovary.. I've never felt anything quite like it, but I started on cabergoline almost a month ago which my obgyn prescribed to lower prolactin levels and in turn allow me ovulate.. I read that ovulation typically occurs 12-48 hours after LH surge so I'm going to assume that the pains I felt is just ovulation occuring. Never thought I would get so excited over something so small 😂
