Breastfeeding?

Okay I'm curious how many people are considering not breast feeding and only formula feeding? And why? I am a ftm considering this, I just don't feel comfortable breast feeding. Please NO negative comments or rants about breast is best. No matter what way people choose to feed as long as baby is healthy, fed and growing!

Second time mom. I'm actually torn because doing formula was so easy but I will probably breast feed because the cost of formula is so insanely high. Diapers have lots of coupons but there aren't enough coupons to offset the cost of formula.

I had twins before and breast feeding was very difficult as you can imagine since I wasn't producing enough milk. They were formula fed and are healthy 7 year olds now. This time I'm having 1 baby and I plan on attempting to breastfeed but if it doesn't work out I'm going straight to formula. I don't know why people put so much pressure on women about breastfeeding. Do whatever works best for you and your baby. The baby will be healthy regardless. Good luck!

I'm a FTM and will be breast feeding if I'm able. My SIL bottle fed her son because she knew someone at work who breastfed and had to pump all the time and she didn't want to do that. Her son is perfectly healthy and very smart. I say do what you want. If my baby won't latch or there are any difficulties, I won't be upset about bottle feeding. I just want to breastfeed to save a little money.

I'm going to try breastfeeding, but I'm not willing to be miserable over it. I think happy and healthy mama and baby are the best plan!

I'll breastfeed but not for ages. I always said I'd do it for 6 months with my daughter & ended up combination feeding her from about 6 weeks as she fed every 45 minutes and I was getting no sleep. By the time she was 5 months she decided she preferred the bottle and I was relieved.

I'm formula feeding only. I did the same with my first daughter. 
I'm not comfortable with it. Also I have high anxiety and feel like it would just make it worse. I'll also go back to work probably two months after I give birth and it's way too stressful having working and exclusively breastfeeding.

Girl as long as that baby is fed, happy, healthy who really cares. I fought to breast feed, inverted nipples, nipple shields, SNS, pumping every hour on the hour, supplementing with formula because my milk took TWO WEEKS to come in. I breast fed for 13 months, my supply dried up when I was 12 weeks pregnant or when my little was one 12 months, I had enough frozen to last her until 13 months. I donated just over 16 gallons total to complete strangers, and my nephew. In the end my baby is 15 months now and has been on toddler formula for bedtime and her night feeds since we ran out of breast milk.

I'm a 3rd time mom and I tried breastfeeding with my last baby and it didn't go as plan because I wasn't producing milk how I wanted. But I will be giving it another try come April 9th but I also will be bottle feeding as well whatever yu and your body feel comfortable with GO FOR IT hun 😘 Don't let nothing or anyone discouraged yu.

Strictly formula! I have weighed both options and no I don't mind breastfeeding but I will be returning to work in a SHORT 6 weeks after delivery. I am a manager in a medical office and I just don't see it going very smoothly (pumping often). My fiancé will also have the baby during the day and it would just be easier for him to know formula is there and ready when he needs it lol

I formula fed my daughter and she's perfectly healthy and smart at 19 months. Will do exactly the same this time. Most of the time my breasts feel horrible (pre-pregnancy), so the idea has never appealed to me.
