I had the same thing this morning but worse, more blood continously while wiping. Went for a ultrasound and everything was fine. Dr said it fairly normal for spotting during the first trimester

It's completely normal sweetie. I had deep red bleeding until my 9th week and although I don't wanna jinx it, it has stopped. As long as you're not passing clots and you're not cramping or filling a pad in an hour then you should be just fine. I know it's hard not to worry but just try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. I'm 8+ 4 I have had two bouts of bleeding, once at 5 weeks and the next at 7 weeks. Both bright red, and the second time there was a HUGE clot. Naturally we freaked out, and saw the doctor right away. Both times baby was fine. My doctor said that unless your filling a pad every couple hours, and having cramps, most likely you're fine. It's so hard not to worry anytime there is blood though!

UPDATE: I went to the clinic today & the doctor said I had decent amount of bleeding. Then she did an ultrasound & couldn't find my baby so they sent me to the hospital for a better ultrasound. I finally got to see my little sugar plum💕The bleeding did sort of stop & I have no cramping.

Looks normal to me. I've had brown and even some pink/red spotting and went to doctors. Each time everything was perfect. They told me spotting is normal in first trimester
