feeding from one breast

Hi moms.
sometimes my LO only feeds from one breast for about 20 minutes and then falls asleep and does not want to feed off the other. He seems very content but I'm afraid he's not eating enough. Does this happen to anyone else? And what do you do ?? do you wake the baby up or just let them sleep until they wake up on their own for more?
Usually when I give breastmilk in a bottle he drinks 3 1/4 ounces. So I want to make sure he's eating enough.

Totally normal and okay. Baby is actually better off feeding like that in some ways because he is getting the foremilk and the hindmilk which is the fattier milk. We go feeding to feeding. Sometimes she will only eat from one breast, other times she wants both but I make sure she is on the first breast for a good amount of time or until she completely refuses it before switching.

I do one breast per feeding, then use the other for the next feeding. You don't need to do both

I only do one boob per feed and alternate. It's working for us and the midwife said its fine to do as long as baby is gaining weight.

We also do one breast at a time. I produce a lot thankfully so I'm not worried. And she only eats for about 10 minutes. Anything more than that and she's sleeping through it typically. Sometimes she'll go 15-20 minutes, but still only on one boob. Then I just pump the other one. She's content and gaining weight so I'm not worried. :)

I only give one breast a feed, not intentionally but it's all she wants shes a big girl and has put on the weight..she could feed at my breast for 30mins sufficiently and fall asleep. I get atleast 1oz-2oz out a breast from pumping and feeding and she feeds alot. And she's plenty of dirty/wet nappies so it's ok. I think it's only a problem if they aren't gaining or have little wet/dirty nappies. I'm only now discovering this 😂 and it's my second go breastfeeding.
