confused... help

So I was dating someone for 2 and a half years and the beginning of our relationship was absolutely perfect but after a year and a half it started to go down hill a little. He got a little controlling and started looking through my phone and checked my texts, Instagram likes, Snapchat, emails, etc. And it started to bother me. We both started being a little sneaky and he would sometimes talk to girls and I would sometimes talk to other guys in a flirty way. I thought our relationship was over and I ended up cheating on him. He still doesn't know and I regret it. I broke up with him Bc I cheated and I miss him everyday. We both are only friendly terms and talk from time to time and we both still love each other. I'm now with the guy I cheated on him with and everything is great but he's just not him(my ex) my ex is now messing around with another girl but we've both confessed that we still have feelings for each other and still love each other.. I don't know what to do or what to think of any of this. Can someone help? Thanks is advance
