My mother in law had a child who was born with serious developmental abnormalities who passed away at three months of age. Several moths ago we asked her what the name of the disorder was but now neither of us can remember. I don't have the heart to ask her again. When I go to my genetic carrier screening appointment do I need to know the name of it or is it just a standard set of tests that are the same for everyone? Thanks for any insight.
