What is the difference and how are they caused? And how can they be cured?

Yeast infections in the mouth are commonly called thrush, so yes its the same thing. Treatment would not be the same since you dont put vaginal yeast suppositories in your mouth. You would probably be prescribed the oral yeast medication called diflucan. Ask the dr about it. You can treat yeast overgrowth naturally also by cutting back carbs and sugars in your diet and using homeopathic treatments.
