I need advice. I am currently 18 years old, married, and pregnant with my first child. I live 2,000 miles away from any of my family and friends. I have no license, no job, no car, no money and am 100% dependent on my husband for everything. I don't know what I need to do to be more independent without asking my husband for help. I have tried numerous times to try to get him to take me to the DMV so I can get my license but he doesn't see it as a priority. Also, when I sit down and explain to him how hard it is having to depend on him for absolutely everything he just doesn't get it. I want to be able to take care of myself, and provide for myself to take stress off of him and to be my own person. I know how important it is to be independent. I just don't know what steps I need to make to get there. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
