Prenatal Massage 💆?

So my SO mentioned that I should book  prenatal massage appointment (my doctor suggested it because of my hip and back)

I'm unsure about spending the money if it won't really help.

Anyone have experience with having one and was it worth it?

I LOVE massages and I can't wait, I have my first prenatal one in 2 weeks. My back, neck and hips are terribly painful and it helps me a ton.

Mine was AWFUL. I was so uncomfortable, felt nauseous, it was so ha d for me to relax. So for me, I wouldn't do it, but I know lots of ladies who LOVED it.

I had one . I love massages and typically get deep tissue. They wouldn't do it as hard as I'm used to so I'd rank it as pleasant but meh. But if you aren't the type to regularly get a really deep massage (I have back muscle issues), you might really enjoy it). For ongoing back and hip pain, though, get a Pregnancy pillow. Now THAT helped. I have this one

Prenatal massages are honestly the best me given the weight they may not get rid of your back pain on their own they will most definitely help! My clients love their massages and swear by them (I'm an RMT). Also if it's a money issue look into a chiro who specializes in prenatal (they won't adjust) and can help with spinal/hip alignment ☺️
