I'm from England UK, and I just read on here that a father gets 6 weeks paid sometimes and a mother gets like 4 months paid. Over here, as standard, the father takes 2 weeks off paid paternity leave and the mother gets 9 months paid leave. I could have up to a year if I wanted but I only get paid for 9 months out of 12. I'm so shocked that parents in the US get so little time off with their children. My baby has just turned 6 months old and honestly I'm only now feeling like I'm in a routine and back to my normal head space!! So much respect for you guys oh my gosh
