Yes. I was infatuated with him. I say infatuated because I've been in my relationship for a year and 2 months now and the feelings couldn't be different. He got intoxicated one night while I was away with family, and went to his exes house, who he was probably still in love with. They'd only recently broken up and I had just gotten out of a mentally abusive, controlling relationship, and so for that reason I refer to what we were as the Leaning Towers. He explained to me after we broke up that because of how intoxicated he was, he couldn't get it up, and left. He felt guilty and after the night at his exes, he began to grow.. distant. Less affectionate, ignored me more, wouldn't say I love you, etc. I can honestly say, I felt no wrath. I was hurt, but, I couldn't bring myself to pure anger. Disgust, hurt, shocked, insulted, loss of self confidence, but never pure anger. Even to this day, some of my favorite memories are times spent with him. Do I love him? No. Would I ever go back? No. He's not half the man mine is, but it is perfectly acceptable to love a memory, and not love the person it's with.

Yep, first guy I ever dated. We dated for 5-ish years, he was very abusive (Physically and mentally). He cheated on me roughly 10-12 times, I didn't find out until years afterwe broke up when I met his siter (Who I'm still very good friends with) and she told me. It sucked, really bad. Really wasn't a good first impression to dating. Since then I've always had trust issues and commitment issues when it comes to dating, especially with men. But now I'm in a relationship with a man who loves me unconditionally and has been helping me with my trust issues alot. I'm happier than I've been in a very long time

yes, the first BF I ever had cheated on me and was emotionally abusive towards me as well. I gave him everything I had to offer and he still did me dirty. I found out he cheated and I called him out on it and dropped him. It was hard but worth it. I still have shitty luck with men and I think he's to blame.

Well idk if this is cheating but this guy and I were "together" for like three months. We never really made it official (I just assumed we were because it had been THREE MONTHS and we went on dates and shit) and then all of a sudden he posts his relationship status on Facebook with another girl. I. Was. So. Pissed. I guess he just used me but I slapped the hell outta his face, told this girl he's dating about the whole thing and I guess he was fooling around with both of us at the same time and she left him 😂 that guy was a dick omfg

I was only with him for about a month and he said how much he loved me everyday and I was happy, he started hanging round with his ex a lot and I was anxious but I didn't hassle him about it. His ex was in a relationship also. They ended up sleeping together in some wierd chain of events. They were at someone else house too 😔
