Dermoplast spray was a life saver! My hospital gave me a can to take home but I think you can buy it as well. Also, get a variety of pad sizes. I assumed I'd be bleeding a ton so only got overnight pads... but by the time I came home I just needed a thin regular pad. I actually didnt need to buy overnight pads at all, the hospital supplies you with everything you need while you are there and will send you home with extras.

Stool softeners and hemerrhoid cream. Even a numbing spray if you get ripped up. I didn't bleed that long because I breastfed but some bleed more than others. Always infinity overnight and super are my #1!!!

Nursing pads.... even if you dont breastfeed... we leak like crazy 3-4 days postpartum its discusting! Lol.    Also i think in the states they call it dermoplast spray... i needed to get something different in canada but its a life saver!!! I also say boxers..... tight ones..... i feel better in that than panties after birth. Especially with those huge pads. Last time i even wished i had a hermoroid cusion just to take pressure off my va-j-j lol.   I actually bought one this time to have it if i need it.... i was dreaming of one last time hahaaa

Nursing pads boobs will leak ( not many if you don't plan on breastfeeding)
tucks medicated pads if it was a vaginal delivery that help for the swelling 
And Tylenol but most likely they'll give you a prescription for pain medicine
