I know it was for chromosomal issues, my doctor said the main thing it will test for is trisomy 21, 18, and 13 along with some other stuff. They never told me the name of the test, but when previously discussed they said my office does MaterniT21 plus. I know the paperwork she had me sign said Sequenom. Does anyone know if that would be the MaterniT21 plus or a different test, or if there is just no way to tell? And if the gender would also be known at that point? 

If I don't figure it out I may call tomorrow and find out, but I just got to thinking and was wondering if any of you ladies might have an idea on these tests.
