back labor!?

Anyone know how to spot the differences between back labor contractions and normal back pain?

The only way I know how to discribe it is if you have had kids before and know what a contraction feels like. It's just so much worse , there's no getting comfortable and when I had my epidural it only numbed one side of me .. idk if that had anything to do with having back labor or not. Because they did say it was because my daughter was facing the wrong way and then she came out hand first lol

Usually contractions feel deeper. It can come in waves or can be consistent ache similar to period cramp
