vagina after childbirth?

Is it stretched out for a while or forever? How bad? And is sex the same? Just curious what to expect.

Well you're not supposed to have sex for 6 weeks after giving birth so it heals. I honestly thought it would be looser, because you did just push a baby out, but apparently I got tighter? And sex did hurt a little every time up until 5 months postpartum, then it stopped. But before then, it was a very slow process to have sex

Agreed with this I seemed to go tighter after birth birth doesn't as such affect the vagina as baby comes from the cervix which is what has to get to 10cm so vagina wise it's only a temporary stretch of this makes sense lol x

It's temporary while you heal.  Some ladies will have injuries with long time consequences but the chance is rare.  I went totally back to normal but enjoy sex more after first child was born.

It's probably I a little stretched at first. But when I was cleared for sex it was pretty tight. After I was completely healed it was just back to its regular self. There's a couple stretch marks way down there, but other than that.
