gas problem in newborn

my baby is 18 days old today and is normally very calm... since last night he has been ultra fussy he turns red, tightens his fists and moves his legs towards his stomach.... i exclusively breast feed and during feeds i feel gas bubbles in his stomach, i wind him as well during and after every feed.... what shall i do? please share your experiences...
