I wouldn't know if these work: 
 I had an appt today and am not dilated whatsoever. My doc asked if I got my breast pump. I found that to be an odd question. She said try using it 10 min a day. She also recommended sex (which honestly at 38 weeks I have zero desire) because of something in the ejaculation. She said both could induce contractions. I bled after my cervical check today so she said no sex at the moment. So I might try pumping.  Who knows. I'm pretty disappointed I wasn't dilated even a little bit.

I've read online that eating lots of fresh pineapple can induce labor. Has to be fresh tho not canned. There's supposedly an enzyme that can bring on contractions. Done wojen were saying on message boards it worked got them. Idk how much you'd need to actually eat. Also, I've read eating dates helps. I don't know how many or which kind of date.

My doc said not to try castor oil because I'd just get diarrhea. I wasn't going to try it anyway. Sounds nasty.

I just tried pumping and then some of my mucus plig came out..don't know if it means anything but I heard pumping can help but also read you should get the okay from your doctor

I've tried all of those and so far nothing. Saw the doctor today she did a sweeping and lots of pulling on my cervix but nothing so far. Being induced on Tuesday
