How many can you insert vaginally?

I did 2,000mg vaginally and 2,000 oral daily. I was at 3cm for 3 weeks. Within 5 days after starting it I progressed to 6cm (found out at a routine appt) and had my baby within 7 hours :)

My midwife told me to take 3,000mg orally every day, 1,000mg morning noon and night. And then insert 1,000mg vaginally once a day. I'm sure every midwife will recommend something different though.

Are they the same pills you take orally and internally? Or you have to get 2 different type of pills? Also can someone show me which bottles to take? Like how do they look?

I do 3.  You can even poke holes in one or two to help release the oil.

You can't really overdose with it. Lol mine says to do whatever. As long as she's aware. I insert three at night and two during the day. She also told my husband yesterday that I was opened enough that he could insert it directly into my cervix. So he did that today. However, like said above I'm sure each midwife is different.
