Would you say a size 12 is over weight?

Hi guys. Im a little pee'd off. Anyway I am only short 5ft 1-2 and a size 12 UK. Its just something my Drs cover mentioned today thats all. Thanks in advance xx

Technically, yes. But it depends on how you Carry weight and whether its muscle or fat..

I'm a size 12 and every doctor, nurse I have ever seen has weighed me and yes I am classed as overweight (on BMI) but I have a very big bum and big boobs and so they never have an issue with it. It's all about how you carry it.

Try and not worry to much over the BMI chart . It really doesn't take in account our differences in our bodies. ..I'm small , a petite woman ...however I have a big booty and pretty thick thighs. ... I have a small upper body and not much fat, yet according to the chart I'm overweight.  I eat very healthy and walk miles everyday.  I figure as long as my cholesterol and heart ect...are okay then the actual number on the scale doesn't mean much.  Those charts will make us all crazy.  Just take care of yourself,  love yourself and your body and everything else doesn't matter.  .  ♡♡♡
