Hey ladies. So my c section is scheduled for tomorrow morning and I'm jus wondering is the prepping process different for moms with GD compared to a mom without it? Like for example, are they constantly checking our blood sugars ? Do they give us insulin or sugar in the iV? Especially since we have to fast the night before? My GD has been diet controlled if that makes a difference. Also, as far as our babies go, will they take them to the nicu straight away to monitor their blood sugars or can they do it in the postpartum room so baby can stay with us at all times?
