So I had my baby 5 weeks ago, I stopped bleeding after 2 weeks and my period returned for the first time yesterday. Let me add that I breast fed for 3 weeks but am now giving formula. I had a c section which probably in this case makes no difference and have NEVER been one to have heavy periods. My flow is EXTRMELY heavy now. I have no cramps just an extrmely heavy flow. I bled through a tampon in 3 hours which is rare for me, so rare this is the first time it's ever happened, I use to be able to leave a tampon in for 5-6 hours and almost have nothing. Is this normal? Will I ever go back to normal?!
