So I took the 1 hour glucose tolerance test and failed with 190. They are skipping the 3 hour because its so high they said its a given i have it. I am overweight so I belive it but when looking it up I found 2 things. 1) steroids can affect the reading as it raises your blood sugar and I had been taking a zpack I got prescribed. 2) on some sites it says not to eat 8 to 12 hours prior and on some it says it's ok. I wasn't told any of this by the doctor so does it affect it? Being that I'm 7 months I am very worried. Does anyone know much about this?
