ways to soothe razor burn

I recently shaved the other night and when I woke up My lady bits were on fire and irritated! The inside of my vagina lips are irritated and me rubbing and scratching it didn't make it any better! How can I soothe my razor burn and keep it from happening again? 😭🙃🙃🙃
