sleepover with boyfriend?

So my mom is very strict. She lets me see my boyfriend but her rule is no sleepovers. It makes me so mad because my boyfriends parents always say the door is open for me to stay over, and my mom won't allow it. Even on New Year's eve she wouldn't let me. I don't know what I can do. I am 16 and tomorrow will be a year with my boyfriend.

It is very understandable that she says no sleepovers w/ your boyfriend. You're only 16. Start saving up so when you're 18, you can move out & do as you please. But until then, respect her rules (which seem reasonable).

I am 17 and my girlfriend turned 16 last month and I know the struggle but we are young and we do live with out parents so it is something we have to deal with.

16 is too young. I can't imagine the shit storm I'd be in if I had been allowed to sleep over at 16. I didn't get to stay the night at a boyfriend's house until I was 18. It made it more special (for me Atleast, dickbag cheated on me mere days afterwards when I had just met his family). Trust me, it's not all that it's said to be, because now I'm living with my fiancé and I feel like the experience would've been tarnished had I been able to spend the night with various boyfriends of my past.

I completely understand your frustration. My mom was really strict about it too. the first time I stayed the night at my boyfriends was last June, we had been together for a year and a month. I'm 16 as well. The reason why I slept over the first time is because I was going camping with him and his aunt, and she didn't know exactly what time she'd be picking us up and I'd be out of the way, so it was easier to just stay the night, I don't know if your mom would let you go on a trip with your boyfriend or not, I don't know if your boyfriend goes on trips either. Lol. But yea, just, wait it out, maybe try asking Ina few months, maybe even set up a 'case' I guess where you just give them a really good reason as to why you should stay the night. This turned out to be a really long response. Sorry
