Who is having a 8+ pound baby ?

Question

According to my last growth scan at 35 weeks it looks like my baby girl will be around 9 pounds. Anyone know from personal experience if scans can be wrong? Going for another scan at 37 weeks

I had friends be told they would have 9+ pound babies, choose c-sections and end up with babies that weighed less than 7.5 pounds. Third trimester ultrasounds can be pretty inaccurate.

I was told my baby was 8lb through scan measurements and she did come out 8lb 😆

Ultrasound today at 36 weeks and our little man is estimated to be 7 pounds 12 ounces already.  He's in the 96th percentile.  I was 10 lbs 3.5ozs and my husband was just shy of 9. Really hoping I don't have to be induced but also not wanting a baby that's 10+pounds either.

On January 6th they estimated my baby at 8IBS and 14OZ .. I have another ultrasound on Wednesday if she doesn't come before her due date which is tomorrow January 17th and then they will schedule for me to be induced or csection. Once she is born I will update on her birth weight.

My second girl was 9lb 15oz when she was born. They had estimated her to be around 10lbs, so they were right. This one he said could be around the same size. I hope not. I have tried to be active and walk daily. I find out next week whether she will be for sure. One more U/S measuring her and we will get an estimated weight then. Hoping for my third vaginal delivery!!

My daughter they said would be 7lbs but she came out almost 9lbs.

I had my baby 12/17/16 and my scan in Nov said my baby would be over 9 lbs. She was 7.3 and my original due date was 12/28....

I had my son at 39 and 5 because he was estimating to be 10+ lbs and had little fluid around him due to him measuring 41/42 wks at that time and had him via csection and he was 9 lbs even
