9-10 days past due.. negative tests

What is going on? Anyone else dealing with this right now? Anyone previously have this happen? I've never been super regular but this definitely late.. I've had late periods before but previously it was while using protection and once when I was pregnant but I knew 3 days before (and unfortunately miscarried). I'm doubtful that the tests will turn positive.. just really wondering what the deal is.
