Loud neighbor!!

I'm a 19 year old college student, and it's almost 3 am, the girl next door is having sex VERY loudly. It's a weekend, I understand but would it be rude if maybe I just knocked and asked for it to be a little quieter or maybe sent a quick text?! I would love to sleep! I can hear the bed rocking and everything, it's been almost an hour and a half!
