Missed Miscarriage-passing naturally

I found out last Tuesday our baby stopped growing at 6w3d and had no heartbeat. I was scheduled for my D&C Friday but couldn't make it because of snow. I am so scared I won't make it to reshedule. For those of you that had a missed miscarriage and choose to pass the baby naturally how did it start? I've been having soreness below the belt but no cramps and no blood. I feel like the snow was a possible sign to not get the procedure done but I'm scared I will be traumatized if I miscarry naturally. I know passing can take a few weeks with a missed miscarriage. All in all its been almost three weeks since my baby died and one week since we found out. The hospital said to call on Monday to see if they can "fit me in" that day or reschedule for that week.... Not to mention my birthday is Friday 😪
