spotting between periods?

I was 9 days early with AF this month. It was very heavy with bigger than normal clots for me. It was heavy for 4 days, light on the 5th day. A few days after I ended AF I started to spot. I have now spotted 3 days in a row. My original date to start AF is now.  I have been testing and each day since AF ended the surge line has darkened more (as usual). Today I would say I am surging but I'm also lightly spotting still. Thoughts?
