Getting your own labor gown?

Question

Is it worth it? Part of me wants to get one because they're soft and I feel like I would be more comfortable than if I were to wear a hospital gown.
  
I realize they will get covered in all sorts of bodily fluids, I'm more thinking of comfort.
  
Any mamas who have had their own and feel like it made a difference?

I didn't have one and don't feel like I missed out. I was so uncomfortable during labor that I didn't even notice the gown. After delivery, as soon as I could shower, I changed into my own pjs that I had brought.

I really wanted to get one, but I didn't. After giving birth I totally wouldn't have cared 😝

I laboured naked the whole time but I would recommend bringing a nightgown if you're not comfortable naked.

I bought one and a nightie and slippers!! Didn't even end up using any of them! I just laboured in my bra haha

I did not bother with any special gowns, I just were with the hospital had. It was great, if I was sweaty or it got bloody I could just take it off and get another one. I did buy an oversized bathrobe second hand that I could put on over the hospital down if I wanted to leave the room and still feel presentable. I'm glad I did that and will bring it with me for the next kid too.
