Piercing baby girls ears?

My husband does not have any holes or tats but i have them and i told him if we ever have a girl i will get them done.. he just ask i dont cut her hair lol he loves long hair... but its all a personal opinion from the PARENTS  we agree on it just we make sure we listen and respect each other

I will just because I feel like the earlier the better so they don't all of a sudden notice the earrings and start pulling or messing with them. Idk I guess also bc I got mine done as soon as possible.

I plan to wait a bit and let her decide. As babies their ears are still growing. My cousins' earrings are uneven to each other bc they were done at a young age.

My twin yanked my earring from an ear while I was a baby on accident and it healed horribly, narrowly avoided needing surgery and caused keloids in that ear every time I tried to get it pierced later in middle school and high school.  Finally after 6 attempts in about 4 years i finally got the ear repierced and no keloid. I'd wait until they're about 2 or 3.

I personally think it's so cute but with my daughter it's so unrealistic lol she's very curious about everything and she'd pull them out, I just know it. Especially when they heal up and are kind of itchy lol. I was in first grade when I got mine so maybe she will be too 😁

They won't let you get them done until baby is 6 months depending on where you go. It isn't painful for baby's although they may cry just a bit but that's typical. I took my niece and she cried once the second one was done but not for long.

I'm not, but I don't think there is anything wrong with doing it. I just remember when I was 7, my aunt took me shopping and we got my ears pierced. My mom had already given permission, but I didn't know that. My aunt just told me she would deal with my mom.

I felt so rebellious and I bonded with my aunt and had a great time. I want my little girl to have that moment. Of course, I'm probably forgetting how much it hurt, but that's the point. No matter what age they get it done, they will likely forget the pain.

Personally, my mother got mine done as a baby and I was always glad she did because I LOVED having earrings but am awful with needles. I got permission to get my second holes at 12 but didn't get the guts to do it until I was 18 and was shocked at how it didn't hurt.  Anyways, I will get my little girls ears pierced (by a pediatric approved parlor) after she gets her first set of shots.  Just wanted to see some others' opinions on the subject!
