baby names & family opinion!
I'm really struggling with names, because everyone (mainly family) seems to have an opinion!
We're having a little girl and liked the name Isabel - cue father in law making jokes "is a bell really necessary on a bike?" over & over and mother in law (nursery teacher) saying it's too common.
Now we like Francesca, so we can use Frankie as a nickname. My mum has just told me she doesn't like the nickname Frankie and would only call her Francesca.
Cue me bursting into tears because I'm emotional and I wish family would keep their opinions to themselves if they don't like it!! I think it's quite selfish- it's our baby and ultimately them saying things like that is putting me off names we really liked! Anyone else had this issue?
