Boyfriend too emotional for me

Anyways yesterday my boyfriend texted me about a posting I put up on instagram. He does like his pics up social media unless it's him that does it. He would post me on his but I am not aloud to post him on mine. I know the reason why he is bitching so much but he won't come out and say it's because of his exs who have a problem and won't stop blowing up his phone about. Like the minute he put a video we made on Facebook his ex that loves to argue with me was blowing up his phone. He doesn't talk to her and I know that because we share that number but she doesn't know that. So I know when she calls. I told him to block her but he won't so now he gets all bitchy when I mention his exs. Trust me they bold faces women who would see us then blow up his phone. Go to his work place because he works at the super market about the time I would after work to get stuff for dinner. His co-workers would watch him and tell me how they try to talk to him and he ignores them and I get the company video because the managers are very good friends of mine.  I trust him but I don't trust his exs. I don't ask anyone to watch or report anything he does but they do it because he is the first guy I have dated in four and a half years and they know my past so they are over protective with me. 

I give him his space. Even when it's his day off I don't bother him. But I will suggest to do something and if he has plans I am cool with it. 

But back to my point why can't I post anything about him or us on my social media accounts? I mean I know his whole family and talk to his mom on a regular without him knowing. I see his dad around. But he did something weird he ask for my dad number he has never spoken to my dad not once. I told him if he wants to talk him let me know and even when I am on the phone with my dad he wouldn't want to talk to him.
