how long does the epidural take to wear off?

Hi ladies, FTM here and contemplating options for medication in a few weeks. I'm 36 weeks now so it could be anytime! Just wondering for those that had an epidural how long did it take to wear off . As in when could you get up and move around, thank you!

Mine wore off before I even gave birth, I got it 4 hours before I started pushing and it stopped working about 45 minutes before I started to push. They tried giving more but it did nothing.

I only had mine in for 30 minutes before my baby was born(really late in the game, weird circumstances) so that may have a lot to do with it, but I was up and walking less than an hour after giving birth. I felt normal. I don't remember any point of not being able to feel my legs.

Mine wore off in about an hour. Which was fine with me because I had no interest in getting up at all. I didn't even feel like getting up when the nurse came to have me try and go to the bathroom
