The conversation keeps going dead, only getting one word replies

Usually we talk non stop, always together. For some reason my gf is just giving me one word replies but I don't get why. Does it mean she doesn't want to be with me anymore, we're going on holiday this week and she's being so distant, so I avoided her don't know if it's made it worse.
