Intrauterine pregnancy after ectopic

E.
For anyone who may happen upon this group, I wanted to share my positive story.  After my ectopic, I felt a little hopeless and other's stories helped me.  My first pregnancy ended in an ectopic in Sept. '16.  After two rounds of methotrexate, my right tube ended up rupturing and I had to have emergency surgery to remove the pregnancy and tube.  My period returned 4 weeks after surgery. I had pretty severe cramping the first day, which was not consistent with previous periods.  The same thing happened during my 2nd period after surgery, accompanied with puking and fainting. Although this was abnormal, my OBGYN was not concerned and cleared us for TTC.  We started TTC after my second period, but got BFN.  I had more cramping after my 3rd period, so my OBGYN ordered an ultrasound just to be sure everything looked ok.  Two days before that appointment, I got my BFP.  We proceeded with the ultrasound, but it was too early to see anything, only a possible corpus luteum in my right ovary.  Fast forward a week later (today), I woke up with intense cramping, followed by passing out twice while in the bathroom.  I went to the ER as instructed.  Ultrasound shows that the baby is intrauterine this time, measuring 5w2d!!!  They believe the pain may be coming from the incision sites, since the uterus is stretching and growing for the pregnancy.  The passing out may have happened due to low blood pressure plus standing up out of bed too fast.  We are beyond happy that this is not another ectopic and are hoping for a healthy 9 months.  In summary, we got our BFP after our second month TTC and the lucky egg came from my right ovary and travelled down my left (and only) tube! 🌈🤞🏼❤🎉  Dust to all! ✨✨✨
