covering baby hands...

Anyone know any good hacks for covering babies hands? Mine chews on his hands like a teether. Half the time I give him a teether he lays it down and chomps on his hand. I put socks on his hands but then he just chews on that and then his hands are sitting in a wet sock... his poor little hands are getting chapped. And no he does not take a pacifier. Barely did when he was a newborn and does not like them.
