Super light and short periods

Why couldn't have this have happened in my teens and 20's? So background is that we started ttc in April, immediately got pregnant, miscarried in July, started trying again in September, had chemical pregnancy in October. My periods have always been about 4-5 days, moderate to light, 26 day cycle. I am now seeing a 25 day cycle and 2-3 days, really only 2 days and very light. Had anyone experienced this? I just started seeing a fertility specialist so I know that I can talk to them but in the past, I've found that I get better feedback on here or talking to others going through the same thing. Oh, and I just turned 35, so I've joked about early menopause but really don't think that could be the issue.
