Is it just me?

Question

So my first appointment is this Thursday. I'll be 8 weeks 4 days and I just have this terrible thought in my mind that I'm not really pregnant and that all of my symptoms will be the result of some sickness or something. I feel crazy for even thinking it but I can't get it out of my mind.

I know what you mean. I couldn't even bring myself to get excited because I was scared they were going to tell me there was no baby or no heartbeat. I'm 9 weeks today and had my first ultrasound and when the tech said "I see a baby!" I started sobbing. The heartbeat was at 185. She said everything couldn't have looked better. I quit having symptoms at 7 weeks. So don't worry, mama! It's okay to be excited!

I was the same way. I was so excited and happy but I was also terrified that it was too good to be true. I'm 30 weeks now!!
